With the launch of the new accessories range, I'm looking forward to adding a twist of unconventionality to the collection, look out for key pieces and one off creations. And although we're a little way off, look out for some quirky knitwear currently under construction.
Accessories range launch06/08/2013
It's been a long time coming but I'm excited to report the accessories range is finally flying the nest and away to new owners. Each colour combination is produced in a small batch so if you like what you see buy it while you can!!
A textural journey30/07/2013
Staring at my wall of fabric (quite literally) the tweeds, wools and jerseys are a definite first choice for the next collection; I'm interested in playing around with some tailoring techniques and structure. It's been a while since I worked on a new men's range, I think a few key pieces should present an exciting prelude- more on this later.
Sooo excited to see the samples in production, the great thing about working with fellow craft makers is seeing the whole process being hand-made with love. Especially excited about the smaller 'Tardis' bags the Liberty print linings are amazing, pictures just don't do them justice!
The design process01/07/2013
One of the great things about design is the process, the journey from conceiving an idea, sketching (or in my case toiling) a design then translating that into a beautiful finished article is the real art. So an afternoon spent tube hopping across London to source leathers, buckles, linings and fabrics is so much fun. Next stop, the production unit where it all comes to life!
A helping hand20/05/2013
A few months back I was surfing the net researching what was available out there to support creative enterprise and I came across School for Creative Startups. It would be remiss of me not to say how grateful I am for the support I've received from them. Right opportunity, right time and companions on the journey- Heartfelt thanks to Doug Richard and the team.
